Films Diplomacy Strengthens Cooperation with the Argentine Republic Ahead of FDC 2026

On 23 January, a Films Diplomacy (FD) delegation, led by its President Mr. Raheel Ahmad and Chief Political Advisor Mr. Murat Emir Kaya, paid an official visit to Mr. Rodrigo López Gadano, Deputy Consul General of the Argentine Republic, following his gracious invitation. The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen bilateral cooperation and explore the role of cultural diplomacy in fostering international dialogue and youth engagement.
The discussions focused on encouraging the active participation of Argentine youth delegates, filmmakers, actors, cultural professionals, and public universities in the upcoming Films Diplomacy Conference 2026 (FDC'26) in Istanbul. Both sides also exchanged perspectives on the importance of advancing the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, emphasizing the role of cinema, education, and international collaboration in promoting inclusive and sustainable global development.
